Sushi Taxi needed one Shopify brand presence that could serve Canada and the United States without flattening either market. Lake House Group built a dual-market storefront and shaped the catalog so collections read like a menu: clear paths into franchise, catering, and merch while the brand story stays front and center.
Overview
- Dual market: Canada full site + US landing
- Collection-as-menu: catalog that browses like a menu
- Custom Shopify theme: franchise, catering, merch

About Sushi Taxi
Sushi Taxi is a Quebec sushi franchise known for delivery, dine-in, takeout, catering, and merchandise. The brand wanted a site that sells the story and the next step (franchise, catering, boutique), not a checkout clone of the ordering flow.
What had to work
Two markets. Two audiences. One brand. Canada needed a full French-primary experience. The US needed a focused English landing. Across both, franchise, catering, and merch had to feel like first-class journeys, and the product story had to browse like a menu instead of a flat catalog.
What we built
1. Dual markets
A full Canadian experience beside a US landing, each tuned to language and depth without splitting the brand in two.
2. Collection-as-menu
Shopify collections and catalog structure grouped so visitors move through sushi the way they move through a menu: scannable sets, clear paths from story to product.
3. Custom theme for growth lanes
Franchise, catering, and merch built into the theme so those paths feel native, not bolted on.
Where it landed
Both markets are live on the brand storefront: Canada at https://www.sushitaxi.ca/ and the US at https://sushitaxi.com/, with menu-led collections in place.
